Astronomy in the Garden – POSTPONED TO Saturday,11/18

Andromeda Galaxy 2

Join Tim Frazier, current president of the  Magic Valley Astronomical Society, for an evening of early winter star gazing with “a few” of his favorite telescopes.

The evening begins at the Visitor’s Center at 7:00 pm with a basic orientation to the night sky. Then we’ll move outside to observe “Oh Wow!” deep sky objects, early winter constellations and other celestial wonders. Kristin Fletcher, Sawtooth Botanical Garden Education Director, will help participants identify constellations visible with the naked eye plus offer insights about their lore.

Dress warmly for the weather and bring binoculars, if you have them!
