For the Birds – Build a Chickadee Birdhouse

Bring your kids to this family friendly workshop and help our feathered friends. You’ll build a birdhouse that’s just right for backyard chickadees, and then take it home.  Materials are provided.

Date: Saturday, April 8, 10:00-noon

Instructors: SBG Education Director Kristin Fletcher and James Stireman are long time bird enthusiasts.

Cost: SBG members: $16 for 1 adult/1 child. Nonmembers: $20. Each additional child is $7. Preregistration required.

POLLINATOR WALKS at DRAPER PRESERVE

Learn to identify key pollinators and the important work they do in our gardens, fields and wildlands during this free, 4-part workshop series sponsored by the Wood River Land Trust, Sawtooth Botanical Garden, The Nature Conservancy and Sawtooth National Recreation Area.

Take a lunch hour or evening walk through the Draper Preserve with a pollination expert and discover the critical interactions between bugs, birds, and blossoms.
