Hours and Directions
The gardens and grounds are open to the public from dawn until dusk daily, year round. If the front entry gate is closed, you are welcome to enter, just please leave the gate as you found it. The gate is latched (never locked!) to keep opportunistic ungulates from eating our foliage.
Summer Visitor Center hours – Memorial Day weekend through the first Sunday in October:
Open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. seven days a week.
Fall & Winter Visitor Center Hours beginning the Monday following the first Sunday in October.
Open 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Winter operational hours MAY be variable depending on snow removal efforts. Please call before you visit to ensure that we are open for you!

Admission Fees: An admission fee is charged from May 1 through October 31. Admission fee is $5 for adults, $10 for families, and kids 12 and under are free. Sawtooth Botanical Garden Members are free, as well as those attending an SBG approved event, private party, or class/workshop at the Garden. Fee collection outside of regular business hours in “honor system” using the drop box on the Admission Kiosk. Admission from November 1 through April 30 is free for all. Additional donations are absolutely welcomed and appreciated!
The Garden is located at 11 Gimlet Road, Ketchum, Idaho, just off of Highway 75. We are between East Fork/Greenhorn Gulch Road and St. Luke’s Hospital.
