Wildflower Walks: In Our Backyard – Dollar Mountain

Join the Sawtooth Botanical Garden (SBG) and the Idaho Native Plant Society for this popular summer wildflower walk series to some of the area’s most diverse and spectacular habitats.  Walks are free and happen rain or shine. Bring appropriate outerwear, sturdy walking shoes, water, sunscreen, hat and lunch. Some walks are appropriate for children age 7 years and older accompanied by an adult.  Call if you have questions.  But please leave Fido at home.

In Our Backyard – Dollar Mountain (or nearby)

Join retired US Forest Service employee John Shelly and local plant lover Jeanne Cassell for a stroll up Dollar Mountain in Sun Valley.  This is the 2nd of the Sawtooth Botanical Garden (SBG) popular summer wildflower walks to some of our area’s most diverse and spectacular habitats.

Difficulty: Easy-Moderate

Meeting Time & Location: Meet at 8:30 AM at Sawtooth Botanical Garden (Highway 75 and Gimlet Rd., 4 miles south of Ketchum)

Return Time: by 1:00 PM
