The Bug Zoo is a two week exhibit begining the Sunday after Earth Day each spring. The exhibit provides a chance for children to learn about our many-legged friends. Children who experience a butterfly breezing by their face or a pill bug opening in their hand foster a life-long appreciation of our natural world. The Bug Zoo has grown into a household name thanks to our members who have supported the Zoo financially, as volunteers at the event, and by over a thousand visiting children.
